An ambitious individual with over 6 years of Java/J2EE and over 2.5 years of Adobe Flex, BlazeDS, and LCES experience designing and building data-driven web applications on projects ranging in size from $25,000 to $5M.

I have designed and built multi-tier web applications using Adobe Flex at the front end and Java/J2EE at the back end for the telecommunication, transportation, media, fashion and health care industries.

  • Working in Collections team to rewrite a legacy ColdFusuion application into a more rich, user friendly and modular Flex application

MediaStore is one of the prime online services offered to its subscribers for downloading ring tones, ring back tones, MP3s, games, and applications.

  • Consulted for 6 weeks as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the domain of Flex Runtime Shared Libraries (RSL) and Flex Modules
  • Primarily worked with a high traffic and rich user interface application publicly known as Verizon's Media Store ( http://mediastore.verizonwireless.com )
  • MediaStore application was developed by Adobe Consulting and initially Flex's Modules were never leveraged for the purpose of breaking the application into dynamically loadable modules at runtime
  • When I joined the project, MediaStore application was suffering from its huge file size of about 3.5 MB and it was continuously expanding due to on-going maintenance and bug-fixes
  • I analyzed and ran benchmarks on MediaStore in an effort to control and reduce the file size of the compiled application
  • Successfully incorporated Flex Runtime Shared Libraries into the existing build process which reduced the file size by 60%
  • Successfully mentored the development team on how to leverage Flex's Modules for any new feature development and how to establish seamless communication between all the modules
